PROJECT SUMMARIES
Oroborus Freshwater
Marine Program.

Above is the latest Oroborus system, one of which we hope
will be many new tank installations in Singapore. The sole licence rights
for both Singapore and the whole of Malaysia were sold to one of our
favorite clients Mr Norman Lim, owner of Rocksteel.
Normans vision and insight into this new technology was one of the reasons
we allocated the license to him, but more important was his genuine desire
to raise clean healthy fish without the pollution and drawbacks associated
with the more common but outdated systems currently used. We have expanded
our original species suitability to include Giant Grouper and it is this
fish that Norman intends to raise in his first unit. Others may include Soon
Hock and Murray Cod as well as any others our future research reveals as
viable. It is rare in todays climate to find someone who genuinely cares
about both the environment and the quality of the fish produced so we are
delighted to be working with him.
We will be keeping you all up to date with the sites progress as the months
pass and we are sure that choosing Norman as our partner in Malaysia,
despite many other applications, was the right decision.
With license applications from all over the world and smaller units being
excavated, for instance in Ireland for which the sole license has been
issued to Mr Karl Reynolds, we can now be sure that this technology which
many commercial concerns have tried to ignore will lead the way for fish
production and ensure that, finally, safe healthy aquaculture and the
protection of our rapidly depleting ocean stocks will soon be established
worldwide. As for the major companies currently involved in both the sale of
fish stocks to the public or with investment in the trawler industry itself,
and we all know who we mean, you have missed the chance to become involved
in this major new technology . . . a decision which you will regret for many
years. Being driven by profit without responsibility needs to be tempered
with a duty of care to both the fish themselves and the planet we live on,
whatever claims are made publicly about "good intentions". This is why our
license holders have to be picked very carefully. Profit and responsibility
can go hand in hand without the current abuse that abounds within the
industry, it is a pity that many are slow to see the future.
Our aim now is to extend the research into other species that can be raised
with this new technology, both Freshwater and Marine fish. The list is
already expanding so we will keep you informed of the latest breakthroughs
as they happen.
