Ciren Technology
-----------------------------------------------------------------

This technology, a spin off from our freshwater research program, has
some remarkable possibilities. With the patent application registered we can
reveal a little about this breakthrough but I am sure you will appreciate
that we still need to play the subject close to our chest, at least for now.
Suffice to say it bears no resemblance to the somewhat pointless use of
pheromones that is being explored in other parts of the industry because
they simply will not work with anything like the efficiency of our
electronic units that rely on an entirely different principle that has
previously been undiscovered.
We have initially applied this Neural Trigger technology to fishing
lures as an experiment and the results were frankly stunning. Of more
interest to us however is the wider use of what is turning out to be an
incredible breakthrough. We could for instance apply the same principles to
deterring Dolphins from swimming into nets and even help protect divers from
shark attacks etc. The device is very small and self contained and is very
species specific in that it has to be constructed for each individual type
of predatory fish and can either attract or repel the chosen species
depending on how it is deployed. The electronics are comparatively simple
and the components are readily available.
What we need is a suitable
partner with vision enough to realise the enormous potential of this new
technology as almost everyday we discover more
possible applications.
With so many other aspects to our various research programs we are
restricted as to which ones to concentrate resources on but the
Ciren program is
certainly amongst the 2010 priorities. With the major commitment to our
video/TV series completed we can switch those resources to further research
in other areas but with the Freshwater Marine program at full stretch
worldwide we will still, somewhat reluctantly, have to pull back from some
of our programs purely due to excessive workload. Sad but there is no
option.
Ciren Neural Technology
however must go forward, the rewards are too great to ignore.
